We are a vibrant community of faith seeking to share the love of Jesus and to be a blessing to our local community.

The Wairau Valley parish has a long history, being the first church established after the formation of the Nelson Anglican Diocese. The original Church of the Good Shepherd in Wairau Valley was dedicated in 1861, and three years later, church services also began in Renwick. Since then, we have remained deeply involved in our local community, striving to be a source of truth, hope and love.

Our parishioners come from diverse backgrounds, adding depth to our faith and fellowship. We embrace the joy of welcoming new faces and visitors as we join in worshipping Christ Jesus and blessing our community. We invite you to join with us on this journey of faith!
